2022 Museum Summer Camps


This summer, join our Heritage & Culture team for in-person camp programs taking place throughout July and August at the Port Dover Harbour Museum, Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum, and the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre. Our summer camp programs are geared at children 5-11 years old. Each day is packed with cooperative games, competitions, dancing, drama activities, outdoor adventures and nature walks, experiments, crafts, and so much more! There’s a little bit of everything for all types of kids.

Summer Camp Dates and Locations

July 4, 5 ,6, 7, 8 Waterford Heritage and Agricultural Museum

July 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 Port Dover Harbor Museum

July 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre


August 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 Waterford Heritage and Agricultural Museum

August 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 Port Dover Harbor Museum

August 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre


Camps run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Cost: $30.75 per child, per day.

Ages: 5 to 11 years

Extended care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an additional fee of $5 per child, per day.

Pre-registration is required. Register online via ENCORE. Or, register in person at any of the museums during regular open hours.

If there is not enough interest in a specific camp program, the program will be cancelled and those who have registered will receive a full refund.
If a cancellation request is received more than three days prior to the start of the program, a full refund, less a $5 administration fee, will be issued. If within three days of the start of the program, a refund will not be issued.

A Child’s Journey to Norfolk: Our Living Heritage

Program Offered: Tuesdays from 9:30am to 11:30am or 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Program Duration: 2 hours
Maximum Group Size: 36
Cost: $5.20/student (Teachers and Chaperones Free)

Program Description:
A Child’s Journey to Norfolk: Our Living Heritage is a grade 6 curriculum based program created to introduce students to the rich, diverse multicultural heritage of the Delhi area. The program provides youth with an opportunity to learn about and participate in various activities based on these cultures.

Curriculum Connections:
A Child’s Journey to Norfolk best aligns with the 2018 Ontario Curriculum for Grade 6 but can be adjusted for younger grades upon request.
