September 8-December 22
The Delhi Harvest Festival was Delhi’s biggest event for decades – the downtown came alive with a midway and special entertainment. Starting in 1970, community members competed in priming and hand tying contests; kids dressed up their bikes and pets. A highlight each year – one lucky young woman was chosen as the Ontario Tobacco Queen, and represented the tobacco industry all over Ontario. If you have any photos or memorabilia from Harvestfest’s past, please contact the museum at [email protected] by June 1.
