PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS

As a tribute to W. Edgar Cantelon, the museum is hosting a “Plein Air” or outdoor watercolour painting and pastel workshop. We will set up in beautiful Quance park on Saturday September 16th from noon to 3:00 PM to create art with the same method Cantelon did so many times through his life.

This workshop is for amateurs and no watercolour experience is necessary.  We will provide all materials and beginners instruction to the mediums. The park will provide the inspiration. The cost is $35 per person. Attendees can bring their own paints if desired.

Please contact the Delhi Tobacco Museum and Heritage to register at 519-426-5870 ex.8213 or at [email protected] Spaces are limited.

Artists with experience with watercolours or other mediums that want to do “Plein Air” painting are welcome to join us that day at no cost but must provide own materials. The natural beauty of Quance park should be shared by all.
